New Years Eve

Hey guys! Last day of 2015, what are you going to do? Well  I have to admit, we were rather lazy around here. We watched Supernatural, played guitar, cuddled, took a small walk and then in the evening we are going to friends of the family and celebrate the coming new year. There we will propably eat some yummy pies, salads or snacks, drink some good srinks and talk and laugh until midnight. Then we´ll go outside and shoot our pretty fireworks until we run out of ammo. At last we´ll watch "Diner for one". I love this! Tried to find a nice version to show you here. The one below is the best I could find on YouTube. Hope you love it as much as we do!

Nice things

In the last few days we also got a bit into the city and you know it is the time for past-Christmas-sales. Well I am actually not so into this but maybe we´ll take another look next year. Here I just got some nice things I recently got or saw while strolling around. Hope you like some of the ideas that caught my attention. By the way how about a "What did you get for Christmas?".

Christmasmarket in Bielefeld (Germany)

So I have been to a lot christmasmarkets this year and I still can say that this one in Bielefeld counts to my favourites. Which ones did you visit? And where is your favourite christmasmarket? Oh gosh, when you get the chance to get to the one in Bielefeld...go and eat a herb-steak (Kräutersteak). So yummy!!!



Jason Mraz favourites

You know I also had to give you my favourites of Jason Mraz. He is a great musician and especially those songs are my forever go to summer and good mood music. I´d love to learn some of them on guitar to play them by a campfire or something. Oh wouldn´t that be nice? What are your favourites that make you smile everytime again? Hope you like them! Passenger favourite songs

How about you? I love to make a small playlist for new years eve, to get into the right mood for what is coming in 2016. And for the last three years Passenger, Jason Mraz and Bruno Mars have been part of it along with Beach Boys, Beatles, Bob Marley, Rolling Stones and so on. In fact, songs that make you smile and/or want to dance. Well...how bad can it get, when you start off the next year with an awesome mood and motivation? Next year will be great. I am sure of it. Magdalensberg wintermood

The Magdalensberg in Carinthia (formerly Helen Berg) is a mountain in the Klagenfurt´s basin northeast of Klagenfurt Ccty. The church at the top is a place of pilgrimage and starting point of the annual Vierberge run. Also at the summit, and on the south side of Magdalensberg, was a late-celtic early-roman settlement. A nice daytrip with a yummy lunch nearby the church? Good idea! Do it. Alpenzoo Innsbruck

At the bottom of the Nordkette, above the roofs of Innsbruck, in Tyrol, is the location of Apenzoo at 750 meters altitude. In slightly more than 4 ha about 2000 alpine animals of about 150 species are maintained in near-natural enclosures, terrariums and aquariums. No other zoo in the world is such a complete collection of wild animals from the alpine Region. The Aplenzoo is a nonprofit association, which generates annual resources (with support from the city of Innsbruck and Tyrol) mainly by itself. With around 300,000 visitors each year to the Alpenzoo is the largest nationwide cultural institution in Tyrol and worth a visit everytime.

As you know I visit this zoo a lot when I am in Innsbruck (also got my own card to go there all year round, without paying everytime). This time I wanted to show you why I love this place so much, beside the big Aquarium, where I can relax best. Enjoy and feel hugged. xoxo

Zugspitze mountain

The Zugspitze is 2,962 m above sea level, the highest mountain of Germany together with the Wetterstein mountains in the eastern alps. Zugspitze is located southwest of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria and in the north of Tyrol. We got up there one or two years ago very early to enjoy the sunrise with some others. Of cause we took the chance to also enjoy breakfast there. Wanted to show you this, because I thought it is great possibility for a family trip during winter time. Winterstart (foggy walk)

Hey guys! Well yesterday was the 21st of december as you know.That means, now winter has started officially. I wanted to make something nice for that, so I took another walk through the forest while the fog hung heavy between the trees. This was really mystical, but I actually hoped that the sun might break through a bit. Well I wasn´t that lucky, but the photos I took are still quite good as I think. Hope you like them too. 4th advent sunday

Hey guys! It´s the last advent sunday for this year and even though it was kinda exhausting, it was still really beautiful. We sat by the candles, ate together, talked and sang one or two easy christmas songs, took a nice short walk through a foogy forest and I baked some cookies. Well today almost all plants were covered in ice.
This one kinda reminded me of a Jack Skellington hand.

This pretty wooden snowflake was on my mom´s grave/tree.
I guess my brother put it there. A really nice idea.
I´ve added some white rose petals, so now it looks like it snowed.

Oh and this is an interior decoration idea from Depot.
I really like this combination of wood and coziness.

Foggy forest

Well we actually wanted to make some fun things today, but yes, you guessed it we did something else. After a quite calm morning my grandma and I had a wonderful delicious lunch and talked a bit. In the afternoon we drove to several graveyards to light up some candles for our resting ancestors there, because we won´t have the time for that closer to christmas. This took us quite long, so we just took a short walk through a foggy forest nearby. Hope I get the chance to make a fairytale photoshooting wiht a atmosphere like that soon. Would you like to see some shootings in such a setting? I really like fog like this, it is so mysterious. Cookies (Vanillekipferl-Kekse)

Well guys I wanted to make many many many cookies this year, but you might have recognized, that somehow this winter didn´t turn out how I wanted it to be. I´ve decided to go with the basics as you see.

But I also wanted to have some moon shaped cookies.

I rolled out the dough until it was about 5mm thick.

Always a good idea is to combine your cookies with nuts or chocolate.

My favorite nuts are defenitely walnuts.

After some minutes in the oven you gotta wait to let them cool down...but then you can start to dunk them into
some chocolate or ad other decoration. (to be honest, I didn´t got the time for that yet)
